My Greatest Experience as a Christian

Good day!!! Blessed all SOJC and BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS in the whole WORLD..May GOD bless us always,hear our prayers, forgive our sins and always there to love, care, and guide us in our studies and everything we do in our daily lives. May this testimony of mine could touch your hearts and get lessons from it. First, let me introduce to you myself…

I am JOVEL A. RODECO, 20 years of age, born on MAY 1,1989 in BRGY. PARIAN, SIGMA, CAPIZ, a 2nd year BSCRIM student of HC. I have 3 bros. and 2 sisters. My mother was a plain housewife and my father already passed away since I was just in grade 5..that was the most  sorrowful moment that I have been encountered during my childhood years. My father was a farmer, a fisherman, how a hardworking father he is. I learned from him how to be a responsible, respectful, and a loving child. From a hard and hot days at work, he immediately take a bath  when he went home. Hats the reason why his body got paralyzed and he cant even walk nor move his feet. We cant really afford to take him to the hospital coz lack of financial matter considering the fact that we a poor condition of living. We just pray and pray for our father, then came some ministries of ASSEMBLY OF GOD FROM SIGMA CHURCH. They never give-up on offering prayers most especially to my father.  Months later, we are baptized. From a catholic to born again Christians. This is how, I prove hat god really loved us, and how powerful to make miracles to my family. My father was healed, our problems banished immediately, that’s because of our strong faith and accepting JESUS as our personal savior. But time comes that our relationship to god became cold, we turned back, we didn’t attend bible studies anymore, and even worship Him every Sunday. My father suffer the consequences, of it. He was sick again for almost a year and died. Our life seems lonely without joy and so much pain we felt. Wherever he was now I hope He was at the happy place of heaven together with our ALMIGHTY GOD.

After that event of my life, life still continues, my mother cant provide our needs so my elder sister’s stopped schooling, they work in order to help us in our financial studies and send us to school. That’s why all of them were just Elementary graduates including my brothers. I really want to study then, so I find ways…I became a schoolgirl since 1st year-4th year..after I graduate, I worked for 3 years.. back to school again last year as a schoolgirl as usual. My college life was the most complicated situation of my life, for I work in the morning, went to school in the afternoon and back to work again at night. Becoz of this I was challenged to study hard. My relationship with my guardian is very nice at first, but later became cold and embarrassing for she is very strict, (suplada) was the right term. From school, I went to church first to pray. I was very thankful and blessed for god helped me..even though I didn’t  enjoy my studies well, my work as well for every night I shed tears of pain for it.. coz my guardian don’t want me to just concentrate in studies, she kept on checking my work everyday and it seems like I was on the front of judgment everytime I committed mistakes..she then whisper bad words which are hard to accept. God is good and right coz  He made me successful in my 1st year of college. He made me the top 1 of our department. I proved that God is really there for me. He gave us our soul, mind and body to use it in useful and productive way.. every hardships has a corresponding rewards and blessings.

Here I come to the most wonderful part of my life, and that is when I became a working student in school. Thanks a lot for my ever concerned teachers. Ms. Rina Progio and Mrs. Nilfa Larido, they helped me to continue my studies. But very much thank you and what a great opportunity for us to have Mr. Jose A. Hernandez as our school president. He is different, godly inspired and helpful. He is the reason why I was engaged and now one of the member of HERCOR SOJC YOUTH. Its my honor to give plenty of thanks to our Lord God through His Son Jesus Christ that he used SIR THOTO as an instrument for rearing and nurturing our mind in the word of god. I have decided to follow Jesus, I was baptized, I accept Jesus as my personal savior and WOW!! I have felt much joy and happiness in my life.. I am now confident coz whatever struggles God would give me, I know he has a purpose.. I know God is just beside me, He is everywhere that we cant see..but he sees us.. He knows what we are doing. I know it was God’s plan that Hercor SOJC was made and I was one of it. Im so proud I have met every members of sojc, I hope our bondings wont change, I hope God would strengthen our minds in making our job and greatest purpose in life and that is to be a good disciple and a better discipler someday.

“D EAGLE SCOUT’

God destined me to be a member of  this group… this means that like an Eagle, he continues flying high even how strong the typhoon is,.. like us, whatever persecutions, circumstances, hardships, and temptations that would come, we will still fight for it.. we will still fly high to reach the KINGDOM OF GOD.
Yeah, we are loser… but thanks God to our ever funny and responsible leader..he made us laugh and enjoy every activity we had. I am proud to let you know that it was JOHN VICTOR MAYO.. my co-members are Aimee, Mira, Sheilla, Josephine and yours truly Jovel. I’m really proud of you guyz!!!

Accepting God is a very great decision you could ever make.. you will have an everlasting life and you would no longer live in vain.

“WE CAN DO IT NO TURNING BACK’

Guys, remember that whatever happens, Dead Or Alive (DOA) with Jesus, we should accompany each other whenever we are down..we should strive and be patient as “D Everlasting God Soldiers” whatever happens we wont give up and still serve God..coz God loved us  that He gave his only son, so that everyone believes in Him may not die but have an eternal life “WE CAN BE BORN AGAIN” (J 3:16) and will continue to soar up high to the highest we can be even if we’re facing the Signal no.10 typhoon the strongest typhoon ever.. coz we are strong like an eagle..(EAGLE SCOUT) when time comes that we successfully made it..? we will be the ACHIEVERS…the SOLDIERS OF JESUS CHRIST.. Go SOJC…go and multiply!!!!
